Oh, so you mean in the menus themselves have some sort of context help explaining what each setting does instead of having only the docs to resort to?
That makes sense indeed, will add that to my todo list. Thanks for your suggestion. :tu:

So often as developers we discuss things using jargon that not everyone understands. I'm as guilty as anyone of thoroughly explaining a question but leaving the person who asked it going "Ehh, WTF?" Change the blurb to see-thru-crosshair and then everyone will get it. I find it incredibly hard to be non-technical since that explains my point the best but it's not the way that most people will get what I mean.

Can't wait to play Ferali. I know you've worked so damn hard on this.

No prob. :tu:

I have a question:
What might happen if I launch the alt-fire of your translocator in the sky? Would it just bump off?

Well, yes, eventually (once it hits the level boundaries, there's no way I can detect accurately if the translocator is on the high sky or a really large cave of sorts in most maps, so it is that way).

I am still working on fixes, optimizations and enhancements for the weapons, but although they were relatively fast for most of the weapons, things didn't go so smoothly for graviton: spent the last entire week fixing a single online sync problem relative the beam (I had literally to reinvent a way to keep it in sync with the server, it worked though) and another problem relative how rotations in UT work (also fixed now, thankfully if it wasn't for my knowledge in "truth tables", I would be screwed, "good theory makes good computer algorithms" proves to be correct once more).

But now, I am going on to the Freezer and on to the rest of the weapons for optimizations, hopefully since no one has elastic physics they shouldn't give me any of these issues.

You are going to the freezer to get .. some snacks! Good luck while finishing! The remaining %`s are always the hardest and longest ones.

In case you were unaware, your weapons pack to be has been mentioned over at Mapraider · http://www.mapraider.com/forums/thread/?thread=1769

They had a question that I guessed at.

I was aware of that one, but back then (almost 1 year ago) there were no replies in that topic so I even forgot that topic existed at Mapraider (thanks to FreakinMeany for even making it a news item in his site, highly appreciated :D ).

Anyway, yeah, you provided the right answer there. In fact, NW2 had a very poor bot support, in this one bot support is light-years ahead.

If you say so. When I play MH with those weapons the bots have a field day with them. Granted, I play with bots a lot but still...
...I think they use them better than me...

Still in the phase of fixes and enhancements (almost done, next a few more features and interface), but since some months have passed and someone at moddb just screamed "update please!", I thought... well, why not?

To whoever saw the 2nd preview of NW3, in the end of the video I have shown the Megaton nuclear explosion at the time and the guided nuke HUD.
If you don't remember those, I invite you to just check the nuke part of the video to see the "old" ones.
Anyway, I found those a bit "meh.." and decided to enhance both (along with all the nuclear explosions and many other NW3 weapons).

This is the result of the Megaton nuke enhancement and guided nuke HUD enhancement (the "red lit environment" caused by the ongoing nuke, lens, atmospheric ring, etc), still not perfect, but I won't enhance these any further, so this is what you should expect in the final release (which should happen soon):
