He is talking about the Sun. It looks to be infront of the clouds.

actually, i wasn't sure if it was a sun or a moon, so i called it an orb :) it does look too big...

actually, you may consider just ditching it and refine the sunset lighting/coloring to more sunsetting/twilight - like it just went down below the horizon... that might look better considering you can see stars at this time of day and your ambient levels are low (darker)

Haha! Poor Sun, be all mistaken for a moon-n-shit! I'll agree with Frag, however, if you decreased the overall size and applied a nice lens flare I think it would look great. Something to try.

I think I`ll need a better graphics card in order to play your map one day...

Well, had this idea, but then this coffee cup killed my video card. Sorry for the noise in the image. It's actually much worse here.
Hope I still have warranty.

Might finish someday...
Hmmm, seems like papercoffee has similar ideas.

Well, but my coffee is much more low polygonal and will never get a realistic texture.

summer vacation :) bbq, beer, guitar, mapping :satan:

hmm, which one... (so hard to choose)

i was thinking i might just screw all the photoshop texture work this needs and just use a standard swanky mix (pandemonium, dna etc) so it feels more techy/unreal and less modern urban... then again, all the work that's been done so far would be a waste ... :noidea

Agreed with Crev. It's FallenAngel, right?
Damn, those pics made me to finally get off my lazy a_s and try to make some textures for my FF mod map...
But not having anything photoshop-ish (other than an old version of Paint.net) really ain't helping me :(
Oh, well, with that paint.net atleast I recolloured some of the botpack textures for my other map today :) .

Take a look on the last screenshot and you will see the mesh pillars with completly screwed up lighting (thanks to the engine). :ironic:
