hmm, nice simple DM - best 1vs1 imo, not a great deal of z-axis, but decent cover and routes (hey! good job for less than 600 brushes). good use of RichRig textures - lighting is a bit bland (imo, more color contrast and overall blending would be nice but as it is balanced - visibility is good at 5/10 brightness.
Skybox coloring simple but nice, however, the clouds are really too fast (kinda retro-ut feel there, heh) reduce zonelight texture pan to slow down the cloud texture panning...

oh, and you should fix this - (see pics)

it looks like your floor was trying to be a mirror but your settings were wrong. either that or you accidentally set the floor surface to translucent :)
anyways - i fixed my copy this way:

well that's why you should beta test :)
seriously, in your map you have that floor surface set to translucent - i assumed you meant to have a mirror floor there, so _i_ fixed it in ued.
that's why there's a mirror in my screenshot. So it seems you made a mistake, then - either way, you should fix it because it is a big hom as it is.

btw, I use a late model OpenGL driver ... your maps should always work with both d3d and openGL.

My apologies, i didnt mean to sound rude :) I have tested this over lan. my comp is D3D and the other is running opengl, I see no problem in opengl. On my comp however in opengl
the HOM you speak of is there and it looks horrible! Yes, the texture was set to translucent. I have no idea how that happened. well anyways, uploaded new verson and fixed the HOM, Thank you :)

It is an OK-ish map IMO with a decent playable layout and some interesting architecture ideas.

What I want to do next: Joining an UDK team (uncertain however) and improve 3D modelling and texture editing skills

Very good map for 1vs1 or a triple match.
Placed in Good Maps folder.

No mirror error for me.

:gj: It was really fun fighting against bots on this one! Pretty good lighting, some default textures... NICE!
I don't want to sound rude or anything, but the only drawback (for me at least, since I'm the kind of jerk that counts every byte I have) that I found would be the screenshots... The zip is over 8 mb, yet the map (unzipped) is only 2 mb. 1 screenshot is bigger than the whole map (screenie is 3 mb), and... You know where this is going
Like I said, the map is great and I hope to see more from you.

Go download it, play it, and make a remake of Hall of Giants based on it!

:loool:

Btw Agree with GEx for download size. I don't care, but lots of people do.
