GPack textures

Post by JackGriffin »

Converted by request. It's a bit hefty (20MB) but you are welcome to rip out what you want. I'll post the pcx files if anyone wants them.

From the readme:
This package contains a set of 291 textures with multiple variations and grouped into one .utx file. Theme is mainly Metal/Indus/Science-Fiction but other tastes may be pleased too. You're free to modify and use them for non-commercial use only, as long as you give credit and you provide this .txt file or a download link for the original .zip file in the project's readme file.
Download: GPack

For those interested in this pack, here is the preview image from the original 2K4 version
Image

The original source files and the 2K4 version, are still available from the author "Guilhem Bedos"
http://bedos.guilhem.perso.sfr.fr/g-pack/ - 220MB
http://www.ozone4.com
http://translate.google.co.uk/translate ... ozone4.com

Guilhem, does state that the idea is to "MyLevel" any textures, or build your own pack with the few files you use, or you will bloat your map distro.

Now No one who gets the pack from here has any reason, not to credit "Guilhem" and "JackGriffin" (actually which name did you use? ) for their work.

..On a personal level, big thanks go out to Creavion, for digging this pack out and bringing it to our attention :tu:

*EDIT*
As it is offline now, here is an alternative p2p link that works with most modern clients (The forum does not cope with newer links so copy and paste)

Code: Select all

magnet:?xt=urn:bitprint:4BSY4LAY2WIMBY2MINDXPFRIZG6P3GO2.HO3QN2ECZXTEPPMNTHWFC3KJAAUYKIYGEOASLDQ&xt=urn:ed2khash:aa430e0c7d060509f922422280993ecb&xl=91595582&dn=g-pack_tex_utx.rar
Or try a old-style torrent
g-pack_tex_utx.rar.torrent
g-pack_tex_utx.rar
(27.68 KiB) Downloaded 137 times
Either-way, I'll have to leave my PC on, till others have copies of the RAR.

:noidea Don't thank me. I just found the extras, I need no credit.
Jack did the laborious job of the conversion.

Present me with a good quality pack, and I will immediately look for more (You MUST have noticed this by now. hehe).
Strictly speaking I think it is just me being greedy
At least I am as generous as I am greedy, so it works out right :loool:

See my edit to my first post for an alternative download http://www.ut99.org/viewtopic.php?f=5&t ... 940#p42940
It will be slow to begin with, as it will just be me (Everyone else will have the ZIP) . I converted it to RAR to save space and add a recovery record.
