[UT][U227] Viridian Tourney sgtech style

Viridian Dreams sgtech style


Changelog:
- Converted sgtech1 to 24bits s3tc. Lowers memory requirement and increases performance at the cost of lossy texture compression
- Converted other textures to 24bits s3tc and packed in viridian_24bits
- Changed red lighting to peach under the corridors
- Changed sky lighting
- High resolution lightmap
- Fixed a hair like BSP hole
- EFX audio

Bugs:
- The red lights on the jump pads doesn't cycle between on and off properly in UT. I think that UED2.1 generates lightmap that UT cannot read properly, coordinates seem to be wrong
- EFX reverb disappears when player goes from one zone to another
- Occasional HOMs
- UT doesn't support s3tc textures as a source for procedural generated effects, so water in UT is plain static
- There are no palletized textures, which means that UED 2.0 crashes when it loads this map unless you choose zoneportal view or wireframe mode
- This map requires s3tc to be enabled in UT. There are no palletized textures to fallback to

I'm a huge fan of the SGtech texture pack. wanted always re-texture Deck16 with it ...

I find the existing hi-res texture packs already make all the standard maps look amazing.
The SGTech re-skin looks great, shame there isn't a hi-res version.
Can't see why converting to compressed textures would lose any quality, unless the renderer is not displaying correctly.

BTW. Medor is welcome, and free to post any time he likes, as he is still a regular visitor here.
He was not banned. He only lost the green name.
Anyone wishing to fill his shoes will have to bare in mind, that I will always check for the existing authors site of any mods and maps posted, so please only link to your own archives when it is something like this project, or not available "officially".

I am trying to test this map and it wont load. " Can't find class in file 'ALAudio.EFXZone' " I have ALAudio installed in my UT and I am currently using it as well. Could you please provide the package so there's no problems. I even searched the web and can't find the file >_< !!!

:noidea just enable it in your renderer settings.
It allows the use of both texture types, so it should only be off if your card cannot use S3TC compression.
"False" is simple a compatibility default, because in 1998 it was not standard.

naruto_999, Oldunreal detects how you use the pages, to stop people hotlinking.
With this beta renderer you have to point to the patches section and tell people to use the bottom link.
Bit of a pain, but it does mean people will spot the updated versions (BTW. expect another update soon).

Try [zOm]ServerMapManager to check which files are used in the map

So I forgot that I have emitter.u emitter.dll installed in UT.
