ut-files.com may be closing - donations wanted!

Due to my recent lay off at my job, I no longer have a steady income of money. Therefore, luxuries that I used to have may be going away unless I can find another descent paying job again. One of the first things on the list to go will be the server I rent monthly to host this site. It costs me $180 per month to run this place, the way it's looking I wont have the funds to afford that anymore.

So a few options are;

I get enough monthly donations to keep the site running.
I find another job that pays enough to afford the place.
I find another job that pays enough where I can barely afford the place and donations can help with the rest.

Guess it's up to the community at this point.

Rest assured, if the site does go down it will come back once I get back on my feet again.

Posted here to gain some more attention to the problem.
So PLEASE, people, help ut-files out with a donation to save all those files/redirects/iptocountry/uncodex etc.!!

This is what I feared that would happen someday to such a big repository.

Anyway, I cannot make a donation right now, but I hope who can, do it, it's time to help and not just consume.

There has been a few options posted at his forum, so hopefully something will at least be saved.
I have left a post in the Epic Gamers forum, calling for everyone who cares about the archives, to help save them.
Hopefully with enough interest and donations it can stay running.

If Epic Games had any integrity left, they'd donate themselves. The community has done most of the work in keeping the UT series afloat for years now, it wouldn't hurt them to give back a little. They're making a killing off their engine licensing anyway, and the way they treated the UT franchise since UT3 has just been shameful.

Sometimes I wish Valve had made UT instead.

Alas, it's easy to point fingers, but I'm pretty much borderline broke myself, otherwise I'd donate as well. If the site's still in dire straits by the end of September, I might be able to make a contribution.

Yearh, in that term it is sad epic is not like valve. They think of themself simply as a company with the simple goal of "profit maximization". There is not anything we can do about it. Whining and epic-hating does not help at all.
