The green time stamp is in my opinion unnecessary.
But an indicator that those posts are merged is needed.
  • =MERGED POST=
Or would be just another colour enough?

Yes, I agree. That said, I will still edit my posts as much as I can, just to avoid that intruder. :lol2:

The only important thing is that people who can't read the rules are now forced to have their content merged ...without me always admonish them for double-posts.
  • =MERGED POST=
You can delete the little indicator to make your posts prettier ...but then you are already aware that you could edit it.

In case you want the merge to look good, here's my take on what you could do:
  1. Add the horizontal line BBCode to the forum, which should look like something like this: [hr][/hr] (it's also useful for normal posts for some cases, look it up);
  2. Make the "merged" text more discrete below the horizontal line, with a smaller size, like so: [size=75]Automatically merged[/size].
I don't think it needs to be very fancy, to not take away too much attention from the posts themselves, so it should be clear, but at the same time as discrete and simple as possible, imho.
If you can use HTML and not only BBCode, you can do the horizontal line with the HTML tag directly: <hr>.

In the end it would look like something similar to this:

POST 1

_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Automatically merged

POST 2

The default wasn't even BBCode {L_MERGE_SEPARATOR} <=what is this?.

It's calling a function in the code of the merger. That's all I got out of this.
