Hardly the point, when someone is so clear in their readme.

I just PM'd him at Unrealed.de so we''ll see if he uses email.
As long as he still gets messages from the forums he uses, it does not really matter how much he uses a site.
FragNbrag and MrLoathsome don't visit so often, but it does not mean all of a sudden we ignore their readmes with their work.
The cut-off point, is after you exhaust every method possible, not when it looks inconvenient.
eg. Here is his photography page in FB https://www.facebook.com/RoyW.Photography
and his actual photography site, with a public reply box http://www.ungewohnte-blicke.de/cont.html

Mind also asking him if he'll finish this?:

Quite a fun map there.

Dr.Flay, what are you trying to convey? You do realise the textures aren't his ... right?

True, i was just emphasizing it might be difficult. You know me, I'm like a crediting whore, I go out of my way to track people down to get their permission if i can. Even if it takes months to years.

Just saying, is all.

:loool:
So he is also a member here !
He must have impeccable taste in sites that he doesn't visit much.

As far as I can tell all embedded resources are his.
Like I said though, it is possible the leaf textures are not embedded in the map, but linked to an existing texture pack.
If the textures are in another file, then you may be able to use it from that.

Dr.Flay, most of the textures used in DM-1on1-Ferkin are UT2004 stock textures (including the plant textures). The few textures that are myleveled are mostly screenshots. The other myleveled textures weren't made by Pandemonium either. They're UT2004 stock textures as well (myleveled in stock-maps instead of texture-packs). So technically Pandemonium would be in violation of copyright-laws if he's actually claiming them.

I understand that you're trying to protect authors and their content, but I think the copyright-discussions on this forum are often misguided.

Back on topic:
Have a look at ArboreaHardwareBrush texture package from UT2004. There you will find some nice plant textures (including the plant-texture from the screenshot). Isotoxin, good luck with your map.

I swear I already covered the issue they may not be his textures.
Twice. :noidea

I don't think so ... Dr. Flay stated it twice, that the possibility exists that this particular texture is not Pandemonium's work.

Dr.Flay, the intent of my post was to clear some things up. You stated 'possibilities' whereas I stated 'facts'. Furthermore, you state that 'as far as you can tell all embedded resources are his'. As I pointed out in my previous post this isn't true.

That's it!

My homepage hasn't been updated for ages! I'm quite more into photography the last years.. Someday I will combine these two hobbies and create some supernice high resolution textures/3D-materials for UDK and further..

My tip, is don't wait to start.
If you carry a camera everywhere then you can gradually start collecting resources.
The more you do it, the more you know what you are looking for.

So what if your friends think you are a freak, and don't understand "...but it is a very nice wooden fence". Start collecting now.

It's been half a year and that's it so far. Both materials are 4096px in height, made out of self taken photosources. UnrealEngine4.
