MH-Greatescape
Re: MH-Greatescape
A comparatively short but fun map Pity the team skaarj and mercs don't help the player
Just a couple of things
1 I didn't find the teleporter that would take me to VisibleTeleporter1 - I did look in the Editor but couldn't work out which it was:
2 I don't think the ThingFactories worked - I didn't notice any rockets being spawned - perhaps they are not actually supposed to work?

0. No point play Team skaarj for you. Also this distract them for goal open doors for you.
1. VisibleTeleporter1 for go outside bunker. no way get inside, except xloc.
Originally there be spawn points for defenders teams.
2. ThingFactories spawn rockets on final demo scene. IDK for me it work locally and on net. You can see rocket from it on low right part of sshot.

Sadly the package "TeamMonster.u" creates tons of "Access Nones":
(for 4 matches).
Code: Select all
grep -e "TeamMonster.*Accessed None" ucc.init.sh.log |wc

Re: MH-Greatescape
They do, you just have to know how to work them.
TeamMonsters.u are basically auto-cannons that're shaped like monsters. I've frequently used them on map-edits, and what you have to do is duck behind them when monsters are firing at you.
The moment oncoming fire hits a TeamMonster, it attacks whatever shot them... and if they get hit by other monsters they attack them too.
Naturally when I could still edit maps, I team colored the TeamMonsters so as to make clear they were on our side.

Indeed they can, however my comment was made specifically in relation to the team skaarj/mercs in this map - it was also tongue in cheek (said jokingly hence the ). The team monsters have a very specific and limited role to play in what can best be described as a scripted scene much like those one may find in the more sophisticated SP maps (in essence they open the doors to the outside for the players(s) and have no further part to play in the map).
