Binoculars/ spotting scope
Has anyone ever seen something like this? I'd like to include it into a project I'm working on.

So basically a sniper - but with zooming only and without first fire mode? BTW: No, have never seen it anywhere.

Yeah, exactly. I started to just remove the overlay and fire commands from a sniper rifle so it zoomed when equipped and that was all, but it looks ugly. I really need to create a mesh for the binocs and animate them going up/down. I've never seen anything like this though I think tacops had something like it.

Yeah this seems like a really good idea, I think you should find someone/yourself to try to put this into use because it seems like it could be very usefull or fun for some players.

I've got an idea...
A prefixed Telescope! You control it like a gun-turret and it zooms more than the sniper rifle scope. Perfect for Assault!
