I didn't find cockroaches in that package. Some flies will have to do.

The cockroaches are to be found in Industrial_Pack1.u. There's a test map of that package on Barbie's site in which you can see them in action.

If you mean .dds textures, then no. Whenever I tried to import .dds textures UnrealEd would throw an error. I don't know if was doing it wrong, but I could find no documentation on the subject.
