I don't say that Vista sucks ...'cause therefor you need admin-rights.
IT DOES NOTHING!

I worked 2 years with Vista ...I made graphics with Adobe CS2 on a brandnew PC and later a brandnew laptop.

PC was slow and didn't do what it should do.

The Laptop with Dual-core was even worse!!
CS2 didn't work adequate because...
the graphic card + Laptop + vista didn't work together.
I changed vista to XP and know what? It works ...because...
the graphic card + Laptop + XP love each-other.

... and they lived happily ever after.

Raynor wrote:I wont argue anymore about Vista since I know that people who decided to hate it will do it anyway (regardless the fact that slow performance and crashes were mostly caused by unmature 3rd party drivers and lower end hardware). Average Joe knows that Vista sucks so let it be, its too late to change his mind anyway. Most fun fact is that Windows 7 is based on same technology that builds upon Windows Vista, but people like it. There are little improvements here and there for sure, but it just shows how badly some opinions are biased towards some things.
I know this is old, but finally someone who knows what they are talking about..

Plus, an university wouldn't spend money to install Vista and then return to XP.

Also, one thing is one kind of driver being faulty with an OS, another thing is ALL of them. I mean, each brand has its own coders and engineers working on the drivers, all very different from eachothers, and when they are used to add support for a very well known kind of system like XP, when something completelly different from what's been the last Windows OS's comes up, and with a huge lack of support and system stability, you can't really throw the fault to the drivers, but yes to the system. Because just think for a minute: we're tallking about all drivers having problems with the system, not just one brand or one driver.
