And why are all the spambots still there and reading the user profiles?

Posted in twitter! Please DEACTIVATE registration and STOP these goons! Oh crap, look what they did !!

All are gone... posts and bots. Is that you Shade?

I will investigate that issue and will deactive the registraion temporarily.
I just got a first PM notification via mail today evening. Even via Facebook the first message arrived me about 2 hours ago, which I've read minutes ago. Now I'm here to see that the site had a problem since yesterday.

Please, in such situations, write to mail@ut99.org immediatly to contact me directly.

What's with luluthefirst is this account hacked?
I totally forgot the mail address ...saved it now.

Until we get a reply from luluthefirst, we cannot confirm if it was them or someone using their account.
All the activity was from the same source, and both banning and blocking have been used while we investigate.

Note: The site security has not been compromised. No admin or moderator access was used.
The spam posts were deleted by the same account
Either a change of heart, or a warning to us, or 2 people fighting over an account.... any of this is possible.

The sole survivors gathered in this thread and tried to fend off the brainless masses ...one could breach our barricades and went behind our defence line.

And then silence ...suddenly all the spam-zombies stopped and retreated. We could sense their glances, watching us and waiting that we come out of our improvised shelter. one after another vanished.
lulu disappeared as well ...even so he got a bullet in his head.
It was horrifying.
Then, this voice ...we couldn't recognize it ...someone was saying that it was safe to come out... we opened the door and nearly shot him.
It was Shade ...we thought he was long dead ...but there he was, standing with a shovel and bashing in the skull of one of the spam-zombies. We were finally safe. We could breath.

But, what still concerned us was ...what happened with luluthefirst?
We all did see him die ...but his body is nowhere to be found.

Is it ironic that around the same time the spam posts started happening, I got over 200+ E-mails asking for confirmation to join mailing lists? A lot of .gov and .edu websites that all said the same thing.

Did you have a registered account at the Standalone Day-Z forum with that e-mail adress? The only explenation I would have... beside the usual "Coincidence". :)

Serious hackers usually don't spam. Let's say, these ones just wanted to delete their own hack trail.
Maybe it was just a test, or they just wanted to get the uncrypted database.
