Nice, a twisted facing worlds would probably a fun map to make. I guess you exported the original tower BSP to Blender, twisted it there and imported it back?

Oh... I didn't notice the map name in the screenshot, I only looked at the map itself lol

Sadly the front and the back are mesed up because when I twisted it, some faces separated each other, I would need to merge them back manually I guess.
I was willing to make a paper model of the tower, since there's an add-on which lets you do it with Blender.
This was a test:
But then I divide the tower into pieces since it would be too difficult to make a paper model of random divided pieces, I made all the t3d files but Idk how to turn them into ASE or whatever other 3D format importable by Blender. I know how using Sketchup, but when I import the t3d into Sketchup it's stretched on an axis and I always need to manually stretch it back to the normal size(so I did it with the tower which was just one t3d file but I won't do it with too many t3d files)

Better yet, feign death on an instagib server.

Eh, you actually could die by falling many times from a half-high place, or being killed by being hit multiple times on your head cause of enemy jumps, or you could die cause of being hit by a grapple hook multiple times XD.

True, but it's very uncommon in an instagib match, and I already caught someone feigning death like that in an instagib match, whom I gibbed.

If it happened yesterday, that was probably me XD.

Nah, I don't play UT since last Saturday, and won't play again until the end of this week (using all the time I can to finish my map for the contest, otherwise it will be impossible to release it on time).
But, I use the same nick in the servers as I use here, so if I end up gibbing you, you will know it.
(disclaimer: I am often at the bottom of the scoreboard in instagib matches, I love the gametype but I am not particularly good at it lol)

Incredibly atmospheric as usual.
In the first screenshot only one of the lights is actually "working" on the ceiling. Is it on purpose to give that sense of "broken old lights" or something similar?

I think it's part of a puzzle. See the labyrinth on the floor?

Thank you, guys!
Yes, as papercoffee correctly guessed, the lights are tied to the labyrinth below: You have to move boxes through the labyrinth to the corresponding button on the floor in order to light the lamps. But don't think of it as an easy task, as every button changes some walls of the labyrinth as well!

So LoZ-style puzzles, nice.
