You can't use same name for different packages. If so, loaded only one, which find first.

Tree_PACK1.utx is not required to run the map - that file contains a texture (Bush1) that is not used in the map. The trees in the map use the texture(s) contained in Tree_Pack1.u.

NO IT doesn't - engine won't use packages this way - it's just a junk file. There are also shared on Internet files like BotPack.uax - the same BotPack with a renamed copy, and maps were never using that FAKE sound package, similar to Engine.utx and such - this UTX file being a original Engine file with its internal Textures not a normal UTX package, and we can keep going with UTDMT and many other "options" happily executed by some slow minded guys.
I don't get how can you say that it works fine since... it's not even used - I opened map without such Texture loaded in Textures folder - conclusion: this UTX file is USELESS. Look...

Im just not into argument with random people on the internet. so i say again its just added if someone looking for the texture

That's a joke from UTPe - it's on his site (link in his sig) along with several other excellent DM/sniper maps from Lunic - MayanRuins, Andromeda (plus a version from David Brown/DarkSniper), Dust2, FancyF*ckingFlat - that haven't been posted on here.

Well worth checking out Pietro's site periodically for new addtions!

THUNDERBOLT back when had released his version of this map for anyone to edit, and some did (Red Fist in particular) for MonsterHunt, but TB had included screenshots of the original map he'd based his on and this one looks more like that.

I didn't have any problem running the map, as others that had complained about, but I do have a minor complaint in that there's no bot-pathing... may run it be a friend who's good with that stuff if the permission to path any of whathisface's maps still holds.

That aside, this is a massive map and it is beautiful.

The original mapper (Lunic) deleted his post for this map but from what I vaguely recall there was mention of team zones, but as I observed bots/players come into the game not in their specified team zones.

Not having UnrealEd anymore I can't check the PlayerStarts to see what's up with that, but it may not be that big a deal given how large this map is it probably works out better that players don't stick to their own teams' areas.

Though despite that, bots do find their own team members fairly easily.

However, it doesn't appear Lunic/NiX included all team areas.

There's clearly Red, Blue, & Yellow "neighborhoods" but I couldn't find a Green area anywhere.

Left a health/ammo regenerator on by accident, but despite that...

...action is fairly intense all over when players/bots find each other, even without special weapons or mutators.

The PlayerStarts are all for TeamNumber=0, so no team starts.

There is indeed no armor or health in the map nor is there a Green area (at least not one denoted by green coloured flags and banners).

It may be worth noting that the inscription on the central statue states that the map was made for the Camping Sniper Community - the lack of bot pathing in the original indicates that the map will have been intended to be played by humans, though the range of weapons, which includes more than just sinper rifles, suggests it was not intended purely as a sniper map.

I put more jump boots in mine, just to make moving around easier (I always use the FNN mutator that increases the range of the translocator).
