Don`t modify retail packages, specially not Botpack. This is a very stupid idea!

You want to replace textures in the existing botpack?
Like Creavion said DO NOT change the textures.
If you want to experiment, use it as a template and make your own texture pack (save it as a new file)
You can then edit the bots in a map, but spawned bots will have the original skins. You will have to edit the bot configs to use new skins.

You really are hard to understand.
These are only simple (and somehow ugly) texture replacements in maps? The pulse gun has a "shield belt" like skin. This can be done via mutator.
But why do you want to do something like that? This looks terrible, like an eye cancer. Tweak means to optimize something. This is rather the opposite.

Well... nothing against that, ...?! Ha ha, this reminds me of someone's UT...
This guy has nearly all the non-level textures changed and is able to play online with it, I guess it is some sort of warez UT.

I'm thinking the "hard to understand" comes from your sentence structure. You're using some form of translation program, I'm guessing, that's not so great.
Anyway, for what it's worth I understand you... largely cuz I know people that talk the way you type.
Making a custom texture package is actually very simple. I usually take an existing one, rename it, and then replace the textures within it with my own. You should rename each individual texture to something else, doesn't do much good to have two different texture packages with content of the same name. Also, it's a given you should rename any maps you wish to apply these textures to.
If you don't and try to either host games or join the games of others, identical maps with different textures but the same filenames could cause file conflicts.

Yearh, but I think he knows his english sucks.
They DO. However some modders do not even know. Somebody talked to me some years ago about that: They wanted to create a mod for UT2004 and named a static mesh and texture package the same and they never figured out the problems until I told him they can not name the package the same. I was like a savior for him... for something trivial like that.identical maps with different textures but the same filenames could cause file conflicts.
