Use the one that suits you best, where you feel more confortable. There's no "optimal settings" regarding that.

I play on a 1280 X 1024 CRT that has a 5:4 (almost square shaped) ratio and I use 97 degrees in all my games. Experiment around and find the one that you like best. You can change it at any time offline by typing fov 90 (replace 90 with whatever you want) into the console. I'm guessing they're saying you should crank up your fov the closer you head is to your monitor, if your only like 5 inches away from your monitor (which is bad for your eyes, so don't do that) then you should crank it up to about 120 since that is supposedly what most people's real-life fov is.

#1) Le fov

Dans:
user.ini
section:
[Engine.Input]
Aliases[26]=(Command="fov 120 | set input Space FovNorm",Alias=FovGros)
Aliases[27]=(Command="fov 90 | set input Space FovGros",Alias=FovNorm)

Space=FovGros

THX alll >:*]
BUt explain me this pls XD ))))))))))- 8cm/360° -(((((((((
Because this person post that:
Zulg( beated Fatality) second on ESWC, has 8cm/360 - high sens.
Lotus, Lauke - both one of the strongest players in the world atm, have kinda 22cm/360 IIRC -a fairly moderate sens. So looks like it doesnt really matter. The size of the mousepad defines the E-leetness :D

AND I DONT UNDERSTAND 22cm/360 this what mean ????

And well I am german, what does this matter? The point is, we should keep the post ON THIS BOARD here english (international language, I think you get it). "An other language" can be used here and there for some slapstick (like papercoffees "Ferien" thread), but overall the board language is english. Please keep that in mind.

I use FOV 100 with 1440x900, with default 90 part of weapon models on lower edge do no fit on screen.

It depends on what you like.
I reccomend higher fov's if you have wider screen.

I have 1440x900, that's 16:10 and I use 100 fov.
I mostly used fov 90 and 95 on my good old 1024x768 4:3 crt.
