Edit: I dont have any idea if anybody is interested in these ones at all...
Since I also have second thoughts if it still makes sense to continue modding for UT (for a longer time than Ferali BTW), I quickly decided to upload some of my textures I created already some months ago (for a map which most likely will never get released). It is very likely I can not use them (change of engine, game developer and publisher, permissions?) I would have to restart with other "legit" resources (e.g. cgtextures) anyway. Nevertheless I hope those people who are using it, have a certain sense of decency (you know it: Read me, credits ... the usual stuff). I still have the PSDs on my HDD of course. But releasing them is quite a pain: Very huge files and of course I would not have a chance to prove I created or modified them. But who knows ... anyway: I think the textures look even better in UT2004. They got saved as nearly loss-free jpgs, most of them have a resolution of 1024² pix.
The following textures are created on base of textures created by Epic Games (mostly UT2004)! Make sure NOT to use them outside of an unreal related game (UT1, UT2003, UT2004, UT3). Otherwise you might render yourself liable to prosecution!
Please link to this thread! Thanks!

About to be non-active
My very last UT map project: CTF-FacePalm (tropical CTF-Face remake)
Why do I leave? click here
What I want to do next: Joining an UDK team (uncertain however) and improve 3D modelling and texture editing skills
Thanks to those who visibly supported me until/at the end!

Re: Jungle Texture Resources for UT1 and at least UT2004
Thankyou Creavion
I will link to this page as well
*EDIT*
I have inspected the files, but even though you have used 100% quality, you have not switched off Chroma sub-sampling (in fact it is even set at maximum !), and this is the part of JPEG that messes with the colours
If you want to use JPG, compress with more accurate floating-point operations and disable the horrible Chroma sub-sampling (assuming Photoshop can).
Too be honest I am stunned you used JPEG, as it will always change the palette from what you were working on, and as soon as they are imported back into 8bit a new palette will get created.
WinRAR has dedicated compression routines for bitmap data, and is very efficient at packing raw pictures.
I would recommend compressing BMPs with that, or if you want a lossless picture format, why not use PNG ?
After all, It is what PNG is designed for (a TIFF and GIF replacement).
If size is an issue, I will happily mirror them.
