They look very nice, but please, use GIMP or something else to save those pngs, those images can have exactly the same quality with 5x smaller filesize, 2.5Mb per image with that resolution is overkill.
I make a SS in ut, (f9), then I open it in photoshop to bright it up and save it as jpg..
Might I suggest 2 things:

1) Your screenshots don't need to be as big as you're making them. Even 800x600 is plenty large enough to get a look at it.

2) I convert BMPs to PNGs with ThumbsPlus and they're never as big as yours are megabyte size. Maybe you should check for something on Cerious Software's site for easier conversion?

800 x 600 pix large enough? Still having an old CRT or something like that?
This might have applied some years ago maybe but I would say 1280 x 1024 (or x 720), depending on your monitor, should be somehow standard, not too large but still big enough.

BTW: Looks interesting Myth. Textures are nicely dirty and even the layout looks rather interesting. But since when were you starting to consider z-axis?

I could go for a larger size but 800x600 is big enough...

...although, I do play a much larger resolution for ut2004.

More Pictures less Talk.

This is a experiment to show people the can do maps even with only cubes ...that's why I call this map aCubeMap.
And now I realize it looks very Minecraft 'ish... pfffff ...anyway.

@Paper: One thing I can say for sure. As long you don't rotate those cubes, you will make the most BSP friendly map ever. The BSP tree simply LOVES cubes (as long they aren't rotated in some odd angles).

@Myth: Nice screenshot, looking forward what will come from there. :tu:

Naaah ....not really ....but you can rebuild it in Mine craft.
Ok this Map will be a cave system with many Z axis and jump matches and cubic crystals and waterfalls and an insane papercoffee :ironic:
I will prove everyone, "you can make a fun and decent map with cubes only".

And this will be a real cube map ....not those ugly oneroomer.

Please NOT a cubic cave. In Minecraft it looks already ridicolous. That is the worst idea you can have...You CAN build nice buildings with cubes only, but a cave - no way (except you are thinking of vertex editing but I doubt it). Please rethink your idea if you actually want to achieve something.
