Why are my screenshots so random?

I don't take them all at once, for one thing.

For the other, anytime after I'm done taking the ones I take in any given session... I delete the ones I don't like. Which leaves open slots for new screenshots to take the next time I do some.

Don't think it's as old as all that, I didn't get ThumbsPlus until Windows '98 was around.

Admittedly, I'm not currently using the latest version of the software. When they upgraded it about 10 years ago or so, I didn't like that particular version so I stuck with a previous one I liked more.
