You dont need MH on your PC.

Sorry, there are no error messages.
I can click, then it downloads all maps, skins, etc.... and then i have a black screen.
If its possible to join, there will be a blue screen, isnt?

could it possible, my UT is version 436????

i´ve seen there is a version 451 available...

Delete completelly the MH mod of your UT, try to reconnect to see what happens, because it can be a version mismatch (different versions of MH).

Well, it depends on how you "Installed" it.
If you just openned a zip file, and you copied them to the respective folders, then you have just to delete those same files from UT.

If you installed it by a .umod, then you have to uninstall them (because it adds some stuff in the UnrealTournament.ini), but I don't know if you have to use the same .umod file to uninstall or you have to delete the files manually.

(In these times would be very apreciatted if people had a backup clean install of UT (only patches and packs included) to run in servers, because it is flawless in this stuff)

so, i updated my UT to version 451.
I thought, that maybe there is a version conflict.
Nothing happens, and nothing is better than before.

The MH-Mod is inside the Game-Folder. Dont know, is it installed or is it copied inside.

I know this is Old thread dragged back by spam...

BUT other ways of finding out whats wrong...

1, look in the UnrealTournament.log found in the system folder, this should give you info why the game hangs... (look at the end of the log and work up the list).

2, how to get a fresh UnrealTournament.ini returning your install "settings" back to default!
Note this you are required to back up the following things by copy and paste or drag n drop.

make a folder within the system folder call it "my backups"
drag n drop your UnrealTournament.ini User.ini and any graphics driver like Opengldrv.dll or d3d driver into this folder too.
(well thats all i ever save)

now reboot your game. this will caue UT to recreate new default .ini and dll files.
it will be like you first installed it. basically the entry's which the Monster hunt Umod installed wont be there.
now try the server to see if you can connect ! If you can either modify your settings to how you like them or edit the old .ini to remove the entry's it had you no longer want.

you could do this easy enough if you use a Umod extractor on the Monster hunt Umod this will now give you the "Manifest.ini" open this and you will see a section saying its going to add lines into what sections.
go delete the necessary lines. if you are confident enough.
if your not just re set up the new prefrences to make the game how you like it from the new default.
